 Twin Cities Metro Area

There are so many things to do in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, I can’t possibly name them all! Thank goodness for websites. We encourage you to use the informational resources on the first page to request visitors’ guides to get a better picture of the all the attractions the cities have to offer!

Here’s a list of some of Ramseyhillman’s  favorites:

 The American Swedish Institute

Explore this museum of Swedish-American art, culture and history within the 1904 Turnblad "castle" at the American Swedish Institute. The former home of newspaper publisher Swan Turnblad features limestone turrets, gargoyles, hand carved woodwork, and porcelain tile stoves.  National Register of Historic Places. Visit this source for all things Swedish.

Tu-Th-Fr-Sat 12-4pm, Wed 12-8pm, Sun 1-5pm.  $3-5 per person.

 Mall of America

Self-explanatory! The world’s first indoor mall was in Edina, Minnesota, and now the state also has the largest mall in America. Stores, restaurants, amusement park, games, walk-through aquarium, and lots of kids stuff. Be sure to visit the website to print out coupons. Located in Bloomington, 15 minutes SW of Saint Paul.

Golf

Minnesotans are some of the country’s most devoted golfers. In fact, there are more golfers per capita in Minnesota than any other state! There are too many courses to name here, so check out these resources:
